HOPE

Dreams that are lost may never be found, without searching for the concrete reality that they will manifest in. This only occurs through manifesting your will upon this concrete material plane of existence. Hope will not achieve this. "I hope to become an astronaut"."I hope to become a mayor"."I hope for change". Many people look at hope as being positive. I guess this maybe some what true. But what is the difference between saying I hope to become mayor? Or, I believe I will become mayor? Or, saying I will become mayor? The first 2 " I hope and I believe" are nothing but another way of saying I want to become mayor or I believe I will be mayor. The 3rd one is more forceful "I will become mayor now! Of course, I am using these as examples, but regardless of any one of these desires to achieve they will all remain a wish or a prayer unless you work hard to bring them to be.

I bring this topic up because, there was a man who seemed to want nothing but the finest things. I mean he knew all of the finest fashion and the finest cars but possesses nothing. He would only admire what he "Believed" he could not have. But one day a beautiful woman approached him and asked him for directions to the BMW car lot. The man's dazzled brown eye's gleaming with admiration fainted away from her gaze, as if her radiance would steal the small amount of confidence he had. "Oh Mrs. For the life of me I cannot remember how to get there from here. The lady said in such a snobby tone "Wow! I see you around all of the car lots on this street everyday on my way to work. I was under the impression that you were in some kind of business with cars. I mean you dress nice but I never see you in a car."Mesmerized by her green eye's and the whiteness of her teeth, as she spoke her every word only accented her ambiance. Speechless, and at a loss for words. Silence! And lack of confidence was the only barrier between himself and a job doing what he loved.

The woman was the owner of the BMW car lot, and was looking for a possible salesman for her business but due to his lack of confidence, all he ever had was hope, a mere wish and nothing more. He hoped one day that he would become rich and successful, as if success just fell from the sky without hard work. People who think like this, are believers in hope. They can and never will become great. They are nothing more than admirers of true achievers, because they believe in hope, and thus, they don't believe in themselves to achieve their dreams.

I am the type of person that believes anything is possible that I set out to achieve, and I work hard regardless of circumstances to complete my desire and bring forth my dreams! I mean no disrespect towards those who believe in hope, or those who say that "I have hope." But hope is nothing more than an illusion of a wish, and a wish is nothing more than an illusion of a dream, and a dream is nothing but a want. A want is a desire, and desire is the true motivation. Whereas, hope does not mix or stir the embers of desire, which leads to ambition to go out and obtain what you want. Hope will actually turn your ambition off! As soon as you say "I want that car and I hope that I get that loan." Just by thinking that and saying "I hope," Well now at that very moment you've rendered yourself powerless and at the mercy to forces outside of yourself. Since my incarceration I cannot believe how many quote unquote " positive words that actually take power away from you.
